I’m a Software Systems Engineer at Medtronic with a background in computer science and biomedical informatics. My work and interests sit at the intersection of computing, engineering, and human health. I’m particularly interested in machine learning, multimodal biomedical data, intelligent sensing and health technologies, and computational approaches to understanding, monitoring, and improving human health.
Part of the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health operating units, working with cross-functional teams on new product development and pre-market medical device initiatives, supporting technical problem solving and patient-focused outcomes.
Worked with David Liebovitz, MD, on a master's capstone project titled "MediTools – Medical Education Powered by LLMs" to develop and evaluate LLM-enabled tools for medical education and explore the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI into healthcare.

Supported the Human Physiology, Performance, Protection & Operations (H-3PO) Laboratory, part of the space suit & exploration operations teams. Worked on development of data/software and Raspberry Pi-based capabilities for a spacesuit Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) for NASA Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL). Designed to enhance astronaut situational awareness during underwater EVA training.
Assisted in developing and testing data sharing and collaboration tools. Part of the Amazon Web Services JupyterHub testing team (HelioAnalytics team) for the Heliophysics division.
Developed and evaluated MediTools, a prototype application featuring LLM-enabled tools for medical education, including clinical case simulation and tools for engaging with medical literature.

Developed and evaluated a gamified neurorehabilitation intervention examining participant engagement, motivation, and perceived challenge, with applications to abnormal muscle synergy rehabilitation following stroke.
Analyzed CDC COVID-19 case surveillance data using statistical and machine learning methods to examine age-related differences in case distribution and factors associated with mortality, presenting findings through an interactive Streamlit application.
Developed software that detects empty and occupied spots in a parking lot.
